HPH Librarian Dave Coleman contributes featured article in MLA News!

Congratulations to Hawaii Pacific Health Librarian David Coleman who just published an article in the Hospital Librarian column of MLA News! You can find his article entitled, “Librarians, Informationists, and Swiss Army Knives” in the June/July 2015 issue (v.55:no.6, p.10).

”Librarians, Informationist and Swiss Army Knives” discusses the renovation of the Straub library and how the flexibility of the library space has to be matched by the flexibility of medical librarian role. The article describes the various roles the librarian/informationist plays in support of the organization mission  and how the library space has become an integral part of the larger hospital operation.
